Arshad is a passionate, determined and uncompromising educational professional with a successful career in teaching, educational leadership and transformation. Arshad’s experience encompasses leadership and transformation roles in schools as well as broader roles leading learning and teaching initiatives at regional, national and international levels. Arshad holds a MSc in Education from the University of Oxford, where he had a particular focus on improving learning & teaching within schools and has over 25 years of experience and success in all aspects of teaching, management and successful design and delivery of educational improvement.
Arshad has been a school-based mentor for PGCE students for the University of Sunderland and has been involved in teacher training for over 15 years. He has also been trained on and has co-delivered on ‘The Visible Learning’ school impact process of Prof John Hattie.
Arshad is forward-thinking former Headmaster of a school which was in the top 100 schools in the world (Cambridge University list), he has been a School Governor for an outstanding school (and one of the first in the UK to achieve the prestigious ‘Governor Mark’ accreditation and a former Ofsted Inspector. Arshad holds advanced degrees from The University of Durham, Kings College London & The University of Oxford.
