At Rochdale Islamic Academy Girls, our approach is rooted in the Qur’an and Sunnah. We strive to nurture our students with love, compassion and guidance while maintaining high expectations of behaviour, attendance and academic commitment. We ask parents and carers to work in partnership with us to uphold these values insha’Allah. By signing the application form, parents/carers acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions.

Parents/guardians agree to support the school’s Islamic ethos and abide by its policies, procedures and expectations. We encourage a strong partnership between home and school with a shared commitment to each student’s education and Tarbiyyah.

Regular attendance and punctuality are essential to academic success. Holidays and extended leave during term time, including travel for religious purposes are not authorised. Any exceptional request for leave must be submitted in advance using the school’s Request for Leave Form and approved.Persistent unauthorised absence or extended unauthorised leave may result in a formal review of the student’s continued enrolment and where appropriate, termination of the admission agreement. Unauthorised absence may also result in school fines and matter referred to the Local Authority where appropriate.

At RIAG, we nurture our students with love and guidance, encouraging them to demonstrate Islamic values through their character, conduct and respect for others. However, serious misconduct, including vandalism or deliberate damage to school property will be addressed through the school’s behaviour and disciplinary procedures. Depending on the seriousness of the incident, this may include suspension or permanent exclusion. Parents/carers will be required to cover the cost of repairing or replacing school property damaged by their daughter.Persistent unauthorised absence or extended unauthorised leave may result in a formal review of the student’s continued enrolment and where appropriate, termination of the admission agreement. Unauthorised absence may also result in school fines and matter referred to the Local Authority where appropriate.

Annual tuition fees are £4,560, payable in 10 monthly instalments of £456 from September to June. Payments must be received by the 1st of each month. Standing order or bank transfer is the usual method of payment; however, we are happy to accommodate parents who wish to pay in cash at the school office.Where fees are unpaid, the school will contact parents/carers to resolve the outstanding balance. Students will not be permitted to attend school until all fees are paid. Persistent failure to pay may result in termination of the admission agreement.Fees remain payable during periods of absence. In keeping with the Islamic principles of fairness, we will not increase tuition fees during the academic year. However, fees may be reviewed annually to reflect increases in operational expenses. Parents/carers will be informed of any changes in advance of the new academic year insha’Allah.

We value our partnership with parents and guardians and expect all communication to reflect the Islamic values of respect and kindness. Abusive, threatening, intimidating or disrespectful behaviour towards staff, students or other members of the school community will not be tolerated, whether in person, by telephone, in writing or online. Serious or repeated incidents may result in restrictions on communication or access to the school. In exceptional circumstances, the school may consider terminating the admission agreement following a fair review, with due consideration for the student’s welfare and education.
